Renewal and registration for members for the 2023/24 season - renewals are due on or before the start of April.

To renew individual membership for yourself or a child please Log in to Acebook using the Username and Password that was used when you registered previously on Acebook and you will be prompted for payment of next seasons membership fees.

A reminder that a percentage of fees from membership categories is paid out to: Tennis Ireland, Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Public Liability insurance; whatever remains is then available in club funds.

New members should also use the below link, where you will be able to Sign Up, select the appropriate membership and then pay for the season: https://www.myacebook.net/mobile/validation.php?club_id=727|Ca617v-fFB&facility_id=1

Family membership, we have agreed two discounted family membership rates for nuclear families only, with either one or two parents. In order to qualify for this reduced rate there must be four members renewing or new members joining the club. When prompted for payment please select the appropriate One Adult or Two Adults rate and you will benefit from reduced rates for the child members.

Existing members can Log in to Acebook - only one parent need select the Renew Membership link, complete the form and make payment. The ability for all members covered by this payment to book courts will be updated manually by the volunteers administrating membership renewals. New members joining as a family should complete this form and then you will be sent an email that prompts for payment after your membership enquiry has been manually reviewed.

NB> Family membership only applies when four or more members of the same nuclear family join and pay at the same time.

We also use Acebook for court bookings and existing club members, who have given the club permission to contact them by email, will have received an email explaining this process.

You must to be registered in Acebook in order to book courts and so that you can receive club related news and information via email. In order to be added to the members email list we need you to check the box that gives us the relevant communication consent. If you do not select this check box then you will not be emailed updates from the club.

If you have any questions about this process or your membership you can contact Paul Logan (Chairperson) in the absence of a Membership Secretary (this voluntary role is presently vacant). Contact details are below.

Please note the following points regarding the registration process.
After arriving on the Acebook webpage New Members should click on the green Sign Up button which you will open the Register page. Complete this form and make the required payment when prompted to do so.

It is recommended that parents register their children (under 18s) and that a parent’s email and mobile number are given rather than that of the child. Child members are not required to receive club emails, especially when a parent who is a member is already agreeing to receive emails from the club.

A Date of Birth should be included for all members under 18 years or age, but if senior members do not wish to give their actual date of birth, then please feel free to select whatever date and year you would like e.g. August 8th 1960 or 1970.

You are not required to complete the field that asks about ranking since this feature of the software will not be in use at Ballycastle Tennis Club.

Once registration is complete you will be automatically be prompted for payment for any individual renewing or new member registering. We have added some family membership options and the process of accessing these will require manual involvement depending on how the original registrations occurred. Please bear with us as we learn how to complete family memberships registrations and renewals.

After the registration process has been completed it is possible for a member to alter the details that are held in their profile by signing into Acebook and clicking on Your Profile in the list of ACTIONS at the left of the page. Not only can the details inputted during the registration process be edited but in the case of under 18 members, parents can helpfully provide useful medical information about their child as well as the name of child’s GP and the number to call in the event of an emergency.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding Acebook please do not hesitate to contact Paul Logan at this address: plogan399@btinternet.com

Many thanks, Paul Logan, on behalf of the committee.
