CLUBHOUSE HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY (Updated 25th October 2021)
THE CLUBHOUSE IS AVAILABLE FOR MEMBERS USE ONLY**.
It is the responsibility of every member to read and follow the safety measures in this policy.
Toilet facilities are available for members using the courts. The toilet areas must be kept clean and tidy at all times. No rubbish should be left in the changing rooms. Sinks, toilets and floors should be left clean after use.
• Please make sure you leave the building cleaner than you found it.
** Guests of the club may use the facilities at the discretion of the committee/ coach. All those including members attending an event must sign in providing contact number for track and trace requirements.
CLUB EVENTS
Members must adhere to current PHA Health and Safety Advice and follow COVID guidelines which are in place.
Anyone who has symptoms of possible infection should not use the clubhouse.
Members should respect those who are more vulnerable to infection and should take all precautions to avoid spreading infection.
Doors and windows should be kept open during events to ensure good ventilation of the building.
The following items must be taken care of at the end of any event prior to leaving the building.
Please make sure you leave the building cleaner than you found it.

- Wipe down all counters and sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms.
- Wipe out refrigerator.
- Wipe out microwave.
- Clean cooker
- Sweep the floors (mop floors if needed).
- Wipe down any walls and windows that might have been marked up or splashed, or smudged.
- Wipe tables and chairs.
- Remove any posters/decorations which have been displayed.
- Pick up and remove all litter in the clubhouse and outside areas that may have been left as a result of your event.
- All rubbish must be removed from the clubhouse at the end of the event.
- Place all furniture back into its original/designated areas
- Turn off all water heaters/heaters/ lights and fans. (including bathrooms)
- Check and lock ALL doors and windows.
- Ensure outside shutters are closed and secured.
