Ballycastle Club Championships Rules 2019 -
Results Deadlines :
Round 1 - enter results by Sunday 29th Sept 9pm
Quarter Finals - enter results by Sunday 13th October 9pm
Semi Finals - enter results by Sunday 27th October 9pm
Finals - enter results by Sunday 3rd November 9pm
Half of the members who enter will be eligible for the plate draws and it is unfair to make them wait for a draw. The deadlines shown are particularly important in the early rounds to avoid delays. Give a walkover if you are unable to play your match.
Players are responsible for checking the deadline for their own match dates and entering their results, we will not be contacting you to ask for a result. If we do not receive a result or walkover decision by the results deadline both players (and their partners in doubles) will not go through to the next round.
Players are responsible for arranging their own matches and must supply their own balls. Players must pay for their own floodlights at Sheskburn. Club keys for lights are not to be used.
All matches are best of three tie break sets. Tie break in all sets at 6 games all.
( Tie Break is first to 7 but 2 clear points needed to win ) This is the format for all championship matches however players can agree a different format by mutual consent before the match starts.
You are not eligible for the plate if you give a walkover or don't play in the opening round of your draw.
Players can arrange to play their matches any time during the week after the draw, the earlier the better.
Don’t leave your matches till the last minute, arrange your matches as soon as the draws are available.
