About Us
Our organization has been in existence for over 100 years with us celebrating our 20th anniversary, in the modern era, in 2013. Club members benefit from excellent tennis facilities with a clubhouse, 6 hard courts
for year round use, and 5 grass courts during the summer season.
Causeway Coast and Glens Council provides 6 Floodlit Polymeric Courts ( courts 6 - 11 )
and 5 Natural Grass Courts ( courts 1 - 5 ), these are the last lawn tennis courts in Northern Ireland.
The Council has established a user agreement with Ballycastle Tennis Club for the use of courts 6 - 9 at a
reduced rate. The grass courts are open seasonally for public and club use and host a number of Senior and Junior Tournaments during the Summer months. Access to the tennis courts for club members is by a new
swipe card system which will be started in August '15.
Ballycastle Tennis Club organises social tennis sessions for adult club members weekly on both Monday and Friday evenings from 7-9pm. A Ladies informal doubles session runs on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm - 9.00pm. Men's night is Thursday from 7pm. The club enters a number of senior and junior teams in the
Belfast and District League for those members looking for more competitive play.
